Within this Direct Procurement Manager opportunity, you will…
- Undertake a variety of day-to-day procurement activities; from leading procurement alignment on supplier strategy to driving robust and transparent decision-making throughout the procurement process
- Work in close collaboration with NPI and Research teams to deliver early supplier engagement as well as drive optimum supplier selection within early stages of procurement development
- Take lead on driving cost avoidance activity using a range of proven approaches, facilitated through liaising with the engineering team and relevant stakeholders
- Attend research projects to effectively anticipate upcoming requirements including supplier qualification regarding upcoming NPI projects
