Supply Chain Analyst

High-End Bespoke Products Manufacturer

Location - Peterborough, UK (2-3 days in Office)
Salary - £35k-£45k + Benefits

Following its recent acquisition by a renowned international Private Equity investment firm, this high-end bespoke products manufacturer is undergoing a significant transformation of its procurement and supply chain department to deliver significant improvements to their internal process and deliver an exceptional service to its customers.

One of the key roles in this new procurement and supply chain team is for a highly analytical and process driven Supply Chain Analyst who will be working closely with the Supply Chain Director in optimizing business processes & policies and other supporting on broader changes to "Business as Usual" activities related to planning, purchasing, logistics, expediting and more.

The Supply Chain Analyst will also play a key role in delivering the implementation of the firm's new ERP system that will deliver a more digital solution for purchasing and supply chain management.

For the position of Supply Chain Analyst you should have the following skills and experience:-

  • Excellent business analytics experience, preferably in a relevant area of purchasing or supply chain management
  • Previous experience working with and/or implementing ERP systems including process mapping and system configuration
  • A solid understanding of the manufacturing supply chain and ability to identify and resolve critical bottlenecks
  • The gravitas, personality and communication skills to motivate internal staff to adopt business changes and work together for the betterment of the business
  • Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization from technical and operational staff up to C-suite executives
  • Must be an avid problem-solver, organized and tenacious; always looking for opportunities to influence change and optimize performance
  • Degree educated to BSc level in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or similar disciplines; CIPS Qualification is also highly desirable
