World Renowned food brand seeking Meat and Poultry Procurement Buyer - West London - £30-35k +Package and benefits

This food services and world renowned food brand are seeking an ambitious Procurement Buyer with experience in food, to join their well established and transformational procurement function as a Buyer within the Meat and Poultry category.

This is an incredible opportunity for a well-seasoned junior buyer with experience in FMCG's and Food retail to join a global team and work on exciting projects across the business. You will have clear guidance and training to develop your procurement career also giving you exposure to a range of UK and global food and beverage markets.

As a Meat and Poultry Procurement Buyer you will:

• Using your Procurement experience within FMCG's, execute seamless and integrated strategic sourcing processes
• Work closely with the category manager for Meat and Poultry throughout the cradle to grave procurement and deal-making process for large-scale and high sub-categories
• Engage with stakeholders across, food categories to provide cross-functional alignment
• Utilise and develop your Supplier Relationship management with suppliers / vendors
• Help identify opportunities to drive creativity and innovation within each Sourcing project
• Establishing and cultivating key stakeholder relationships to ensure necessary buy in and support for strategic sourcing and category management processes / projects

Required Experience for a Procurement Buyer - Meat and Poultry:

• Purchasing, procurement & strategic sourcing experience
• Retail and food industry experience required
• Previous stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Degree, MCIPS qualifications preferred but not essential
