Rheolwr Categori - Caffael / Category Manager - Procurement

Byddai modd gwneud trefniadau ar gyfer gweithio o bell.

Mae cyfle cyffrous wedi codi i weithio gyda'r Brifysgol ar ein Prosiect Gwella Caffael sydd â statws prosiect o bwys o fewn y Brifysgol. Mae swyddogaeth y Rheolwr Categori yn hanfodol i gyflawni ein hamcanion sy'n cynnwys arbedion arian parod a byddwch yn gweithio gyda rhanddeiliaid yn y Brifysgol a thu hwnt.

Ein nod yw gwella'r swyddogaeth gaffael ac rydym yn mabwysiadu dull rheoli categorïau. Bydd y Rheolwyr Categori newydd yn arwain y gwaith o ddatblygu a gweithredu dulliau gweithio newydd, gan ymgysylltu'n helaeth â rhanddeiliaid mewnol ac allanol.

Mae'r Brifysgol wedi ymrwymo i gaffael cyfrifol a nodau Datblygu Cynaliadwy'r Cenhedloedd Unedig, ac rydym yn awyddus i sicrhau eu bod wrth wraidd ein gweithgarwch caffael. Rydym yn chwilio am ymgeiswyr sydd â phrofiad ym meysydd rheoli categori a rheoli’r berthynas â chyflenwyr. Byddai profiad ym maes Ystadau a Chyfleusterau yn fanteisiol, ond nid yw’n hanfodol.

Mae'r Brifysgol yn blaenoriaethu ac yn buddsoddi yn natblygiad ei staff a bydd modd i’r Rheolwr Categori newydd fanteisio ar gyfleoedd i ddatblygu. Er bod y Brifysgol wedi'i lleoli yn Aberystwyth, ac mae swydd amser llawn yw hon, rydym yn agored i drefniadau gweithio hyblyg a gweithio o bell.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the University on our Procurement Enhancement Project that has major project status within the University. The Category Manager role is vital to delivering our objectives that include cashable savings and will work with internal and external stakeholders.

It’s our objective to enhance the procurement function and we are adopting a category management approach. The new Category Managers will lead the development and implementation of new ways of working, engaging extensively with internal and external stakeholders.

The University is committed to responsible procurement and the UN Sustainable Development goals and is looking to ensure they are at the heart of our procurement activity. We are looking for experience in the field of category management and supplier relationship management. Experience in Estates and Facilities is desirable, but not essential.

The University prioritises and invests in the development of its staff and there will be development opportunities for the new Category Manager. While the University is located in Aberystwyth and the role is full time, we are open to remote and flexible working.
