The Commercial team plays a pivotal role in building the necessary capability to deliver CMA's hugely important work, whilst ensuring value for money. The role of Principal Commercial Manager offers a stimulating opportunity to lead and manage day to day and operational activities of the department, delivering innovative, compliant and effective commercial arrangements in an exciting and diverse environment with contracts ranging from £10,000 to over £2million in value.

In addition to leading and managing a strong commercial team on a day-to-day basis, as Principal Commercial Manager, you will use your knowledge of the marketplace to maximise value and manage our commercial portfolio in innovative ways, including supporting complex change programmes and use of joint ventures, outsourcing or best-in class contracting approaches. In return the CMA is a hugely rewarding and stimulating place to work – an opportunity to work for the public good and to stretch and develop yourself in doing so. We offer generous benefits, including an excellent pension scheme, at least 25 days leave (increasing to 30 over five years), and generous maternity/paternity leave provision.
