Senior Procurement Convenience Business Manager - FTSE100 retail major - West London / WFH - £60k + extensive package benefits

My client is going through a huge growth expansion to accommodate their business ventures, they are therefore seeking talented procurement professionals to join their best-in-class procurement function as a Category Development Manager looking after the Convenience Category.

The role has huge growth potential with a clear role evolution into senior management, becoming the head of category. Currently the role involves developing and maintaining key working relationships with their major franchises, identifying areas of development and strategically managing the process.

This role sits within the retail procurement side of the business and therefore the successful individual will need to have worked in a dynamic retail environment as well as having worked on the end-to-end procurement process of key projects within the convenience spend.

As a Category Development Manager you will also be responsible for developing your team, training more junior procurement professionals to holistically maintain and progress category and business performance.
