Procurement Category Manager - Professional Services (Legal, Consultancy, HR) - Professional Services FTSE100 firm - London / WFH - £70-80k + Car allowance, Bonus and other package details

My client is a multinational professional services company specializing in IT services and Consultancy is seeking an ambitious Procurement Professional with a vast range of experience across professional services sub-categories to join their best-in-class procurement function as a Category Manager having complete autonomy over the professionals services procurement spend.

This is a great opportunity to work with one of the largest professional services firm on the globe, working with very ambitious and driven procurement professionals. You will have full autonomy over the professional services category and will work hand in hand with the US Lead. This is a client facing role so the successful candidate will have experience being client facing and be well adept in consultancy work.

For the Procurement Category Manager roles you responsibilities will include:

  • As a Procurement Category Manager working with key FTSE100 clients you will need to perform in depth market analysis to identify and advise on areas of productivity and cost improvement in the professional services category
  • Support the in-house procurement function promoting corporate objectives and nurturing progression and growth within the companies
  • Establish and maintain good stakeholder and senior stakeholder relationships informing them on key strategic developments and supplier negotiations
  • Initiate contract negotiations with key suppliers mitigating risks and securing market rates that will help drive cost saving margins whilst maintaining long lasting supplier relationships.

Procurement Category Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement and supply chain with excellent knowledge of professional services and all their sub-categories.
  • Strong academics with a Degree from a world class university
  • Proven track record of managing large spends with consistent savings whilst providing quality and effectiveness of service
