You will have some exposure to established products, however, you will predominately support NPI procurement activities. Direct Procurement Manager, responsibilities…

  • Drive procurement strategy for New Product Introduction that can be leveraged globally
  • Continuously collaborate with all relevant internal teams, particularly NPI and Research, to deliver early supplier engagement and ensure optimal supplier selection
  • Autonomously drive cost avoidance activity using a range of proven commercial and technical approaches
  • Attend exciting research projects, driven by unprecedented innovation, to anticipate upcoming procurement requirements particularly regarding supplier qualification

Direct Procurement Manager, requirements…

  • Degree / MCIPS desirable but not essential
  • Demonstratable past procurement success, ideally within the direct procurement space
  • Self-starter mentality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong skills surrounding strategic sourcing, stakeholder management and negotiation
