Currently undergoing a major global transformation, this £ Multi-Billion FTSE30 organisation in West London has a critical requirement for two highly experienced IT Procurement Specialists to join the team and deliver results. Working across the entire procurement life cycle, these roles require an expert knowledge of the IT procurement space coupled with the ability to manage CIO level stakeholder relationships and will see the successful applicants growing towards leadership and director level roles.Global IT Procurement Managers responsibilities: -- Integral involvement in the planning and execution of both Short Term and Multi-Year planning cycles for strategic sourcing projects across multiple IT categories including Application Development, Application Maintenance, Hosting, Hardware, Software and Telecoms with project spends up to $100m- Working with highly intelligent peers in order to understand business objectives, market dynamics and context so that the IT category strategy can be executed successfully maintaining a consistent approach across the business where contractual spend is managed in an optimal fashion- Leading complex negotiations for IT products and services with both niche and major Global IT suppliers whilst understanding and communicating options and associated risk to internal stakeholders- Establishing new methods of monitoring supplier performance to guarantee continuous improvement whilst working collaboratively as a Vendor ManagerProcurement Skills/Background Required: -- Prior Experience of leading a wide range of IT category planning activity with a track record of developing deep procurement business knowledge in an complex blue-chip environment- Strong ability to manoeuvre through intricate political situations effectively with expert level communication skills pertaining to the effective influence of internal stakeholders, decision makers and 3rd party suppliers- Degree Qualified 2:1 or equivalent (preferred not essential)- MCIPS usefulGiven the level of responsibility these roles command, applicants MUST have a strong background in IT procurement and be able to demonstrate solid career progression up to this point in time.
