Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + package

This role is with a very sucessful food & beverage manufacturer. They supply the three of the UK's largest coffee chain with all of its goods, from cakes to cereal bars and are now the No.1 gluten free brand in Australia.

This role will have two direct reports and a spend of £13M which is growing month on month as the company expands its operations. You will be the completely hands on in this role, becoming the chief negotiator for all raw material buying, packaging buying, Capex, indirect and any additionally smaller spends.

You are required to work collaboratively with suppliers and warehousing to ensure all stock comes in and goods going out runs smoothy, this includes all negotiations are done effectively and on a good time scale to ensure efficiency. As masses of goods are being produced and shipped, it will be up to you to make sure enough good are either held on site or nearby for usage.

With the packaging element of the role it will be up to you to identify, manage, measure and reduce wastage of raw materials and packaging through improved stock controls and processes for existing product and new product development.

• Demonstrate full end to end procurement knowledge, purchasing and preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Experience in contract negotiations on various sizes and complexity.
• Have strong communication and influencing skills. With an ability to show resilience and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
