We are seeking talented Assistant Category Managers to join our Technology Directorate, responsible for the performance of complex commercial agreements/frameworks in the following categories:

Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Understand customer business needs and intent to determine how and where the CCS product portfolio may support their business - in collaboration with other internal CCS teams.
- Create clear and compelling marketing material for customers to adopt our Commercial Agreements and the associated value delivered to them.
- Execute engagement plans and initiatives with current and new customers to establish, retain and grow spend through Commercial Agreements - in collaboration with internal CCS teams.
- Manage commercial agreements through all stages of their procurement life cycle; from launch through to expiry and/or replacement.
- Provide the contract and performance management activity required for commercial frameworks e.g. preparation and delivery of customer meetings, dealing with day to day customer enquiries, maintenance of various performance logs, and risk management.
- Supplier Management, including the development of supplier plans for growth, conducting supplier reviews of sales and compliance to the terms and conditions and KPIs, cost reduction, risk management and timely provision of management information.
- Work with business and supplier(s) to identify, track and report projects or pipeline opportunities.
- Work with suppliers, customers and colleagues to identify, implement and report on commercial benefits (savings).
- Support the preparation of documents (e.g. specifications, award criteria, pricing models) for colleagues to go to market for new/renewed Commercial Agreements.
- Develop a good knowledge of Category Strategies, Supplier Market, and Commercial Agreements, sufficient to act as a source of insight and advice to customers.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in the collation, analysis and presentation of data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships within a procurement environment.
- Experience of managing Commercial Agreements/frameworks and supplier relationships
- Ability to translate sub-category strategy into practical implementation plans.
