Professional services Organization
Location - Manchester, UK; Hybrid working, 2 days in office.
Salary - £50k-£60k base + Bonus & Benefits

Having recently set-up a new procurement organization just a few years ago, this professional services organization is still in the stages of professionalizing and maturing its indirect procurement division. As part of this growth and development, the firm is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to lead its corporate services spend looking after HR, Professional Services and Marketing related spend.
The business is looking for an individual who understands the added value of procurement and can work with internal business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that will allow the business to obtain the best value from its suppliers rather than simply slashing costs.
The Strategic Sourcing Manager of Indirects will be a trusted business partner to key decision makers within the business with the ability to deliver procurement solutions that truly make an impact to the day to day operations of the organization.
As the Strategic Sourcing Manager of Indirects, your primary responsibilities will include:-
- Act as the procurement subject matter expert to your stakeholders to deliver more effective processes and procedures for strategic sourcing, category management and supplier relationship management
- Provide expert knowledge of indirect procurement within the corporate services (HR, Marketing, Professional services)
- Work closely with key suppliers to enhance supplier relationships with the customers and implement a more robust supplier performance management toolkit
- Delivering effective turnaround programs with a clear short- and long-term goals to drive savings, profitability and long-term value for your stakeholders.
- End to end delivery and roll-out of procurement tools and systems that will support the businesses in becoming more streamlined and autonomous
- Be a champion for D&I and Sustainability when sourcing new suppliers for the business
As the Strategic Sourcing Manager of Indirects, you will act as a Strategic Advisor to multiple internal business stakeholders to ensure that they are getting the best value for their spending budget. You must be a highly versatile and adaptable individual to work to ever-changing business needs in a fast-paced professional services environment.
