Role: Global Procurement Category Specialist
With over 50 offices spanning across the globe and exciting expansion projects ahead this truly world class professional services firm is seeking talented and ambitious procurement professionals to join their newly centralised procurement team, working with award winning procurement professionals and some of the brightest in the business.
They are currently on a huge growth project across the business and procurement is a driving force behind this. During this expansion they have recently opened a brand new position for a Procurement Category HR Specialist. This individual will have responsibility to shape and execute category strategy with a focus on HR services. You will be directly responsible for a £multimillion budget working collaboratively with category managers and directors to strategically deliver on core business savings whilst also reducing company risk.
As a Procurement Category HR Specialist you will have:
- A solid foundation in strategic sourcing specifically within the indirect spend and HR category
- Understanding of the whole procurement life cycle from cradle to grave - with knowledge of the best procurement industry practises
- Negotiation and contract skills
- Experience dealing with stakeholders and C-suite level directors.
- CIPS and Degree desirable
