Role: Technology Procurement Specialist
Firm: Global Professional Services
Location: London - Hybrid Working Options
Salary: £50,000 + Choices Benefits + Bonus
This firm sit at the top of the professional services industry and are looking for a Technology Procurement Specialist to join their team in London or Manchester. You would be joining a hugely successful and well respected in-house procurement function.
This role would be looking a lot at supplier relationship management. This will entail you travelling to meet with the suppliers, and discuss potential areas of improvements that can deliver tangible services and have commercial outcomes.
You will work very closely with the IT procurement team, and report directly into the IT and Telecoms Category Manager. You will work on projects including, but not limited to software, hardware and telecoms. Not only this but they want the individual to look into contracts, negotiate where needed and develop best practice procurement processes incorporating supply chain sustainability.
To be successful in this application:
- Good level of IT procurement knowledge - with a history of working with hardware, software and telecoms.
- Enthusiastic about IT and its progression into the future.
- Strong knowledge in strategic sourcing.
- MCIPS or CIPS is required but not essential.
