This global transformative technology firm, focussed around providing sage, reliable mass transit solutions to some of the worlds emerging markets, is looking to now bring onboard for the first time, a high-performing Marketing Procurement Category Lead post their recent IPO.
This firm is uniquely positioned in an industry, tipped to become a $1tn market, is looking to expand it's global operations and take the next step in their evolutionary journey, with marketing and online marketing playing a key role in their strategy.
Despite currently operating in 115 cities across Africa, Europe, Middle East & Latam, their procurement operations is far from established, and gives the opportunity to the joining category lead to scope, lead and implement new strategies for the category, vital in this organisation growth, making this one of the most strategic opportunities this firm has to offer.
Marketing Procurement Lead role outline:
- Lead a highly strategic marketing category, comprising largely of digital and online marketing, through a highly ambitious growth plan, where you will along with the Head of Procurement, implement and deliver new global strategies
- You will be tasked with 'knowing the market' and play a key vocal point for identifying alternative agencies and other digital vendors to form alliances
- Take the opportunity to learn from a high-class team and leading organisation, and take advantage of fast-tracked progression opportunities
Key procurement experiences required:
- A minimum of 5 years within a procurement sourcing capacity, with a strong focus and understanding of digital media, marketing and creative agency categories
- Proven experience of forming and delivering key strategic category plans and the ambition and drive to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Degree level education / CIPS / is preferred however not essential
