One of the world largest Professional Services consultancy providers is going through a huge period of expansion with new and old client business thriving. With this expansion they are now seeking a Global Procurement Category Manager Specializing in Logistics and supply chain to join their award winning procurement function.

In this position as a Procurement Category Manager for Logistics and supply chain you will be working in £multimillion businesses to develop sourcing strategies across logistics & Supply Chain spend areas including: Road Freight, Ocean Freight, Warehousing, 3/4PL Services and other key areas of transport.

As a Procurement Category Manager, you will:

• Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts; support account stakeholder relationship plans
• Develop strategic category plans that identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in spending across a wide array of leading companies
• The capacity to strategically and effectively manage all elements of the interaction and collaboration, performance, risk and innovation, with third-party providers.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution
• Provide industry and supplier research, market intelligence and financial analyses to client.
