An excellent opportunity has arisen for 2 technology procurement experts to join this household media organisation as they embark upon on large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Having recently restructured their procurement function, they now have several brand-new digital implementation initiatives areas across areas such as cloud infrastructure, workplace technology, cyber security, partnership & distributions.

The 2 positions will be ideally split focus across core technology (Sas, Cloud etc.) and more of a broadcasting/telecoms & infrastructure focus.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage digital procurement initiatives across core technology/broadcast operations
• Partner with senior stakeholders to develop & lead key digital implementation projects in alignment with strategic priorities
• Lead the procurement element of major projects, developing sourcing strategies and implementing through the tender process and post-contract management initiatives
• Business partner with internal and external stakeholder groups, working like an internal consultant with subject matter expertise

Skills required

• An excellent background within technology procurement, with expertise leading implementation projects
• Highly adept in senior stakeholder engagement, ideally having partnered with board-level stakeholders to lead digital transformation
• Led large scale negotiations and built relationships with the likes of Oracle, SAP, IBM & Microsoft
• Background within a relevant industry (Telecoms, Media, Technology) ideal but not required
• Excellent commercial acumen and communication skillset
• MCIPS Ideal
