Are you looking for a globally renowned brand that will enable you to gain exposure across a wide range of indirect procurement categories? If so, this is the perfect procurement position for you.

With £10billion revenue this globally loved household brand is looking to grow their procurement team and is therefore seeking a passionate procurement professional to join as a Senior Buyer within the indirect space. Reporting into the Head of Procurement you will gain invaluable day to day experience and coupled with provision of various training initiatives you will have extensive opportunities to develop.

Despite being a heritage organization the procurement function is relatively brownfield so you will have the ability to gain experience within procurement transformation in terms of identifying areas for improvement.

Indirect Senior Buyer responsibilities…

• Strategically source a variety of indirect procurement categories such as HR, Professional Services and IT procurement
• Help drive procurement strategy across the end to end procurement function and identify areas for improvement and transformation within the indirect procurement space
• Provide support and gain invaluable experience in tendering, contract management and negotiation
• Undertake a variety of day to day activities from assessing supplier capabilities and data gathering to project management and driving collaboration

Indirect Senior Buyer requirements…

• Degree / MCIPS essential
• Track record within the indirect procurement space in relation to 1+ categories such as IT, FM or Professional Services procurement
• Desire to work autonomously and within a dynamic environment
