Contract Management and Procurement Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our ambitious and evolving Procurement Team.
You will provide support and contracts management expertise to ensure the Council is able to correctly monitor and manage its contracts across the Borough to maximise value for money, embed good practice, drive innovation, and deliver social value delivering the best possible outcomes for local people. You will also work with and support the Procurement Team to help integrate the two roles transforming the team into a combined Contract Management and Procurement function.
You will have significant experience in a similar procurement environment with experience of delivering contract management and be able to demonstrate competence in a range of IT applications including spreadsheets and word processing. You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, both face to face and in writing and have excellent analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
