With multi-billion-pound revenue this organization has an abundance of resources to support procurement activities and due to continuous expansion this company is seeking an indirect procurement senior buyer to join the team.

You will gain exposure to a range of indirect procurement categories, from professional services and marketing procurement to IT and facilities procurement, through helping to drive strategy across the end to end procurement function.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside senior stakeholders, including head of procurement, as well as provision of various training/development initiatives.

Indirect Procurement Senior Buyer responsibilities…

• Help drive procurement strategy across a generalist range of indirect procurement categories and continuously identify areas for improvement in terms of processes and practices across the end to end function
• Support vendor and contract management, facilitated through establishing effective relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
• Undertake a variety of day-to-day procurement activities, from negotiation and aiding supplier selection to analyzing supplier markets and supporting project procurement teams

Indirect Procurement Senior Buyer requirements…

• Degree / MCIPS desirable but not essential
• Demonstratable experience across a range of indirect procurement categories
• Strong skills surrounding contract management, strategic sourcing and stakeholder relationship management
