Food Buyer - FTSE 100 Global FMCG

Location: Surrey/Remote

Salary: £40-45k + package

This Global and industry-leading FMCG brand, renowned across multiple markets, are looking to bring onboard a strategically minded ingredients buyer into their first-class procurement function to drive forward the drinks & beverages procurement category.

In this role, you will be responsible for a £50Million spend and managing key relationships with major suppliers and stakeholders that are household names across the F&B industry. This means that you will take high responsibility over a category which is vital to this firms ongoing success. With a focus on elevating their approach to maintain a best-in-class function, it will be your responsibility to drive commercial value and deliver on supply chain optimisation. This can be through engaging in the whole strategic sourcing process and implementing new category plans with senior stakeholders across the business, making this a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious junior buyer or procurement specialist who wants to step into a high responsibility role and enhance their skillset.

You'll be joining a household name, Global powerhouse business who generate over nearly £20 Billion in revenue and employ over half a million people Globally. They are truly industry leading in their market and one of the largest global food & beverage companies in the World. As a Strategic Procurement Buyer, you will be reporting directly into the Head of Category for Direct Spend and will be engaging with the wider team as they elevate procurement processes whilst continuously expanding their presence and portfolio.
