Procurement Manager - TV Production and Special Projects - Global Media Organsation - London - £55,000-£60,000

This global media organisation are currently undergoing an exciting transformative period, and are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive strategy for the procurement on the largest television and entertainment projects in the organisation's history.

Managing a multi-million pound spend for these productions, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to travel internationally and work closely with the production teams on these projects, ensuring that procurement is facilitating the best possible production to be viewed by millions of viewers across the globe.

They are seeking a dynamic, up and coming individual with a passion for all things creative and will be excited about seeing their hard work come to life on screen. This role will involve a wide variety of procurement areas, and the successful candidate will be working to improve and streamline procurement in areas such as: locations, equipment, production, and postproduction.

Procurement Manager Role Includes:

  • Developing and maintaining stakeholder and key supplier relationships, both internally and externally, globally, at all levels.
  • Driving innovation in procurement, streamlining the strategies and adding value on major television projects
  • Managing long term pipelines for procurement, developing plans in line with the future goals of the organisation, and individual productions.
  • Work cross functionally across areas such as production, post production and management, to ensure that the procurement process is maximizing value to the organisation

Procurement Manager Role Requirements:

  • A proven track record of working within procurement, with evidence of both value adding and cost reduction via implementing effective sourcing strategies.
  • The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within creative industries such as FMCG, retail, marketing etc.; and will have the ability to influence stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • The ability to view situations from multiple perspectives and data points in order to successfully and accurately create insights and solutions.
  • The successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, and will want to be part of a global and expansive organisation.
