Procurement Manager - Travel and Events Procurement - $120,000 - $130,000 - Global Leader in Food and Beverage - Remote

Generating over $600 million in annual revenue, this dynamic food and beverage organization are undergoing progressive internal transformation - building on their existing dynamism and expertise. They are seeking an experienced leader to manage key Procurement decisions within the Travel and Events Procurement category. You will hold significant autonomy and responsibility across a variety of procurement led projects, managing a multimillion annual spend within the Travel and Events categories.


Working within an extremely dynamic Travel and Events industry, this role is targeted at those who are eager to drive organizational growth through effective project lead. The organization is seeking a dependable, devoted and inspirational leader who can combine lateral thinking and collaboration to manage a $20 million spend across the organization's Travel and Events Procurement Division; concentrating on bolstering internal transformation and change processes to drive organizational value.

This opportunity offers you the ability to manage revolutionary projects at a national level within the Travel and Events Procurement division, inducing significant lateral progression and vertical upscaling. You will work closely with the global Head of Procurement, playing a key role in the organization's continued market expansion. Successful candidates should demonstrate initiative to deliver actionable strategies in accordance with the company's KPIs and organizational objectives - driving growth both internally and externally.

As a Procurement Manager within Travel and Events, you will:

  • Be proactive in decision making - bringing innovation and creativity to projects across the Travel and Events categories
  • A robust willingness to work within a fast-paced environment and vigorous market conditions
  • Be cognisant and considerate of multiple perspectives - understanding the impact of project decisions and outcomes to key players across the organization's supply chain and other external stakeholders
  • Drive cost reduction and profitability through a meticulous and analytical scope across Travel and Events projects, understanding the impact of divisional growth to holistic organizational success
  • Operate cross-functionally with Indirect Services
  • Audit existing practice within the team and effectively integrate more efficient strategies when necessary
  • Ensure strong synergy across the organization's supply chain - overseeing vendor relationships and key internal stakeholders

Required Skillset:

  • Essential: Shrewd Procurement experience within Travel and Events categories
  • Demonstratable experience collaborating with senior executives and established stakeholders - managing these relationships diligently by establishing strong relationships to ensure strong synergy
  • Strong managerial capabilities
