Job Details
The Opportunity:-
Our client is currently recruiting for an interim Construction Category Manager to deliver commercial strategy and tendering / sourcing activities in areas such as housing, capital maintenance and regeneration
This interim opportunity offers a day rate of £570 (Inside IR35) and is anticipated to initially be for up to 6 months. Working for a London based client, the expectation is for significant home / remote working with occasional office visits.
Key Candidate Criteria:-
- Construction procurement / category management experience gained from within a Local Authority / Council environment
- Experience of contracting utilising the Public Sector procurement rules PCR2015 / OJEU
- Knowledge of category management and its commercial value coupled with the ability to deliver across multiple projects
- Great stakeholder relationship engagement skill / business partnering approach
