IT Procurement Manager - Sustainable Technology Firm

Location: Remote with option to go into office in Central London

Salary: £80-85,000 plus package

With an ever-growing focus on sustainable solutions and tackling climate change, this London based, Global Technology company were founded to reduce environmental impacts by providing solutions across robotics, optimised logistics, and specifically, transportation. By re-assessing traditional procurement and supply chain methods, utilising innovative technology, they have developed a revolutionary process of design and production which scope for radical impact across the transport industry, where most of their investors or clients exist.

Now, with a record revenue in the £Multi-Billions, they are looking to continue their Global growth and ensure they are best placed to drive commercial value and success across the whole operations team. In this brand-new IT Procurement Manager role, you will be reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement and be responsible for the entire £Multi-Million IT spend, that is increasing linearly with the organisations remit.

Staying in line with current technological innovations and moving towards a digitalised future is core to this organisation's purpose, so the majority of your spend will cover projects across Software Procurement, and you should have experience working with key vendors in this space such as Microsoft, AWS or Azure. Due to the nature of this firm being focussed on staying at the forefront of the technology industry, your focus will be on new requirements, category planning and procurement strategy implementation rather than renewals. You will be working with teams across R&D, software asset management and a Global network of stakeholders to ensure the most effective commercial outcomes for the business.

Cultural fit is just as important for this Global leader, who pride themselves on their collaborative, diverse, and fast paced work environment. This would be an excellent career move if you are a procurement professional who thrives with changing objectives, updating strategies in line with the wider market, and have a natural capability or passion for being the sole driver, who can dictate the agenda for one of the most critical spend categories in a business with incredible projected growth.

The salary for this position is £80-85,000 plus an excellent package. You can be based fully remotely within the UK, and should you prefer or live locally, go to the state of the art Central London HQ where you can benefit from many perks including free breakfast, coffee and lunches, and being dog friendly.
