Interim Senior IT Procurement Manager - 9-month contract - Multinational Law Firm - £650-700 per day - Leeds Based/ Flexible hybrid working arrangement

This world-class firm with a presence reaching across 40 countries, is looking to bring on a charismatic and determined Senior IT Procurement Manager to transform their already excellent procurement team. As well as working closely with the Head of Procurement, you will perform collaboratively alongside a team of excellent procurement specialists that constantly succeed to go beyond established standards and expectations. This process of networking and exceptional performance will allow you to increase your visibility within the global organisation - enabling an accelerated career progression.

The company upholds the importance of robust stakeholder relations which in turn has emphasised the need to value and constantly develop the capabilities of the procurement team. As well as holding the responsibility of managing and building the performance of 2 procurement experts, the company will not stop to challenge you to think big and find innovative procurement solutions. Your interim contract will last 9 months.

Senior IT Procurement Manager role outline:

  • Sustaining stakeholder relationship management - You will undertake procurement expertise to sustain existing relationships as well as incentivising and engaging new suppliers. This includes negotiating and contracting with suppliers, assessing current contracts and supplier performance.
  • Where this is a significant category requirement, you will support the operations behind the major bid activity.
  • Generating qualitative and quantitative management information to strengthen the value of procurement within the organisation.

Experience needed:

  • Clear evidence of career progression within the procurement industry - including involvement in working on large scale cloud-based projects.
  • Proven track record of line management experience.
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment including; banking, finance, legal or consulting.
  • Degree level education or equivalent + CIPS is preferred however not essential.
