Global Strategic Sourcing Manager - Global FMCG- £70-85K + Car Allowance + Bonus- Northampton

Are you looking to work for a globally leading retailer in the food and drink industry? You will work for a best-in class procurement function, with access to an exclusive network of both internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Strategic Sourcing Manager will act cross functionally in order to optimize company expenditure in a globally recognized organisation. You will hold responsibility for sourcing products to specification and also the business needs.

You will act autonomously to directly influence the company through mitigating risk and increasing shareholder value derived through the companies supply chain. You will have the ability to lead and develop the procurement team to add significant value to consumers aided through strategic sourcing and business partnering.

You will immerse yourself in end-to-end involvement in supplier relationship management for strategic suppliers.

This role offers a hybrid working structure, with its headquarters based in a highly luxurious office based in Northampton/

Key Strategic Sourcing Manager Skills

• Exhibits proven experience across a range of procurement categories including contract manufacturing
• Strong academic qualifications are highly desirable- inclusive of Degree qualified and or CIPS qualification
• Experience in management of complex supply chains
• Competency in using all required technologies- eProcurement, ERP, Microsoft Office
• Experience in policy setting and project management is desirable.
• The successful Strategic Sourcing Manager will exhibit excellent communication skills alongside strong leadership and relationship building skills.
