Organisation: Leading Utilities Organisation

Location: Flexible/ Hybrid Role - with a brand-new office in Central London

Salary: £ 45000 - 55000 + package

This renowned utilities company seeks a category manager for renewables team. There is a push for an increase in sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in their procurement function after their recent restructuring. Being passionate about their goals they seek someone who is as passionate about sustainability and procurement as they are.

The purpose of the category manager for renewables is to develop and expand upon the renewable procurement processes in place and to increase the commercial value around the sustainability goals and to identify areas where growth is needed. As this is a strategic procurement role, it will suit someone who has experience in category planning, process development and risk identification.

Category Manager for Renewables Key Requirements

  • Experience across indirect procurement with exposure to categories within the renewables or energy space
  • The ideal candidate is ambitious with a desire to grow and develop in a challenging and everchanging environment
  • Being adaptable and agile will help in this role, as you will have numerous procurement project responsibilities concurrently
  • Exposure to strategic procurement is beneficial, as renewable procurement is ever evolving and planning and risk-identification will be key in ensuring that it runs smoothly

This is a flexible hybrid role with occasional travel to the brand-new office in Central London and if you desired you would be able to work in the London office.
