Organisation: Leading FMCG Organisation

Location: Flexible/ Hybrid Role - with an office in Berkshire

Salary: £40,000 to 45,000 + package

This renowned FMCG organisation, seeks am ambitious, driven procurement professional to join their energy advisor team. After recently outgrowing their goals for sustainability they are looking to grow and develop their sustainability goals and energy procurement is an integral part of these goals. If you are passionate about sustainability and renewable energy this role would be ideal for you.

The procurement business advisor for energy is a strategic procurement role, it would benefit someone with experience across indirect procurement, with an emphasis on energy or renewables. Data analysis and strategic procurement are key in energy procurement, they are impacted by global situations. This role is not limited to just the industry side, you will be expected to act as a consultant and present developed energy procurement strategies in line with the organisations sustainability goals.

Procurement Business Advisor - Energy Key Requirements

  • Experience across indirect procurement with exposure to categories within energy or renewables is desirable
  • The ideal candidate is ambitious with a desire to grow and develop in a challenging and everchanging environment
  • Being adaptable and agile will help in this role, as you will have numerous procurement project responsibilities concurrently
  • Exposure to strategic procurement is beneficial, as energy procurement is everchanging and requires planning and analysis to occur to be successful

This is a flexible hybrid role with occasional travel to the Berkshire office.
