Organisation: Leading FMCG Organisation

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days working from Reading

Salary: £ 45000

This leading utilities organisation seeks a utilities buyer. With recent restructuring there are processes that would suit someone who is looking to work in a procurement function that is looking to grow and develop. They are pushing for candidates who want to develop in their sustainable procurement function and wants to work on their processes to reach a greener outlook and reach their goals. Recently there has been structural changes regarding the procurement sector within this organisation, they are looking to push and develop their approaches in regards to sustainable energy procurement in line with their goals for greener energy processes.

This is a highly strategic role which will suit someone who thrives in an environment that involves continual category planning and process development. This utilities buyer role in regard to the renewable's category aims develop and push through commercial value around the sustainability goals and to implement new processes where there are opportunities for growth within the procurement function

Utilities buyer Key Requirements

  • Experience across indirect procurement with exposure to categories within the renewables or energy space
  • The ideal candidate is ambitious with a desire to grow and develop in a challenging and everchanging environment
  • Being adaptable and agile would be ideal in this role is ideal, as you will have numerous procurement project responsibilities at once
  • Exposure to fast-paced environments is preferred

This is a flexible hybrid role with occasional travel to the offices in Reading and if you desired you would be able to work in the Reading Office.
