Procurement Category Manager role outline:

  • Client specific category planning will be managed and developed for CPS categories; included Financial Operations, Legal, Audit, Consulting, Business Intelligence, Fleet and Travel.
  • Implementing market insights to aid the sourcing process on projects within categories of expertise which in turn will be used to support new client business.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships in a collaborative manner to identify continuous cost and performance improvement schemes. Use procurement specialist practices to manage projects as well as monitoring the performance management of the suppliers and client data.
  • Consistently provide chances for internal development by issuing learning opportunities to colleagues and external clients.

Experience needed:

  • Proven track record of procurement Corporate Professional Services categories (Financial Operations, Legal, Audit, Consulting, Business Intelligence, Fleet, Travel), involving either…
    • Category-related industry experience.
    • Supplier experience.
    • Strategic sourcing.
  • Clear evidence of previous client success in procurement-related roles.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
