Role: Senior FM Procurement Manager

Organisation: Renowned FMCG organisation

Location: Hybrid working with state-of-the-art Reading office

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 plus excellent package

This renowned FMCG is seeking an aspiring procurement professional to join their FM procurement team. After recently restructuring they aim to implement cutting edge procurement processes and you will be on the forefront of changing these processes within the FM team. You will be working cross-functionally within the procurement organisation to ensure targets are being met. As this is a highly strategic role you will be responsible for planning and forecasting the FM procurement spend and communicating this information with internal stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to develop market insight from your relationships with senior stakeholders and use the information to develop procurement strategies.

Curiosity and a willingness to learn is an important attribute for this organisation and in their procurement function, if you have a willingness and desire to grow and learn you will be successful in this procurement role. To aid in the development and to feed the inquisitiveness of their employees they offer continual training and opportunities to work towards procurement qualifications to help them progress.

This is a hybrid role, with state-of-the-art offices based in Reading. You will be able to work from home 3 days a week.

Senior FM Category Manager Key Requirements:

  • Experience managing indirect procurement across categories such as FM, professional services or logistics
  • A proven track record of working successfully across end-to-end procurement projects
  • The successful candidate must be adaptable agile and able to manage numerous procurement project responsibilities at once
