This renowned FMCG seeks an energetic procurement professional with experience in and knowledge of energy to join their growing procurement team. Sustainability is at the heart of this organisations mission and energy procurement is an integral part of these goals. Recently they surpassed their sustainability goals and want to implement more cutting-edge procurement strategies to ensure they pushing forward sustainability. In this role you will have the opportunity to liaise with senior stakeholders to gain market insight and knowledge. This is a strategic role; due to this you must be capable of doing analysis and using software such as Microsoft excel to communicate valuable insights across the procurement function.

In this role you will be covering energy procurement for multiple sites globally, with a spend in the £hundreds of millions across projects including, electricity, oil and gas. The organisation is also expanding into new territories, such as the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious procurement professionals who want to expand their network globally and develop new processes internationally.

This is a hybrid role, with state-of-the-art offices based in Reading. You will be able to work from home 3 days a week.

Energy Procurement Advisor Key Requirements:

  • Experience or knowledge of energy procurement
  • A proven track record of working successfully across end-to-end procurement projects
  • The successful candidate must be adaptable agile and able to manage numerous project responsibilities at once
  • You must have strong data and analytical skills and experience using Microsoft excel
  • Exposure to fast-paced environments would be ideal for this role
