You will have direct management responsibility of a small team of whom you will directly impact the needs of the business. The successful senior procurement manager will report directly to the head of procurement to provide commercial leadership within the role concerning multi-million pound contracts for subsequent supplier management.

Key Indirect Procurement & Contract Manager Responsibilities

• Engage and embed with relevant internal stakeholder teams to drive improved procurement practice
• Take responsibility for defining and gaining buy-in for relevant category strategies and plans to maximize the value and reduce risk from third party agreements.
• Proactively lead high value complex negotiations through to contract award and when required, intervening to solve urgent business needs.

Key Requirements for Senior Procurement and Contract Manager

• Previous experience within the Procurement space with a developed expertise is essential
• Indirect Procurement Expertise is highly desirable
• Line management exhibited is ideal but not required
• An interest in working in the Charity Sector- The successful individual will ideally strive to make a difference
• Excellent stakeholder management experience is beneficial
• Marketing experience is ideal but not necessary
