Procurement Category Manager (Arts & Heritage)- Iconic Global Brand - Saudi Arabia - £30-35,000 SAR (£50-70k)+ Benefits - Large-Scale Construction Project - Executive-level Engagement - 12 Month FTC
Recognised globally for their involvement in iconic and innovative projects, esteemed Cosultancy major seeks an ambitious Arts & Heritage Procurement Category Manager to enter a growth position in their global procurement function. Working out of their Saudi Arabia HQ, the successful individual will be tackling projects across various indirect categories with a focus on the hospitality industry whilst taking advantage of the firm's award-winning strategy for internal progression and investment in talent. With further growth on the horizon, this position has a natural path for progression into Senior Management as the procurement function continues its expansion.
Global Category Manager - Arts & Heritage Responsibilities:
- Engaging cross-functionally with various business units to develop strategic category plans across the Arts & heritage Category
- Strategically source new suppliers, managing the full end-to-end tender process to maximise savings and create value within the function
- Liaising with global stakeholders to ensure the consistent expansion of the procurement function
- Creating and implementing innovative ideas for the long and short-term development of the function
Global Category Manager Requirements:
- Involvement in managing large spends across the Arts & Heritage category with a proven track record of generating savings and creating value in a function
- Experience strategically sourcing new suppliers and managing the full end-to-end tender process
- Strong experience drafting and managing contracts with existing and new suppliers
- CIPS and Degree qualified (desirable) achieving a 2.1 or equivalent
