PROCUREMENT - SOURCING MANAGER - INDEPENDENT MARKET LEADER £60,000 - £75,000 - LONDON (HYBIRD WORKING)

This independent market leading company is searching for a Sourcing Manager to join their global procurement function. You will directly work with the Head of Procurement and have full responsibility for the category management, procurement, and sourcing activities across the UK and EMEA across a range of categories including Financial Markets and Capital Works.

You will play an active part in the transformation of the procurement team and will help shape the future of procurement within this company from developing a global supply chain strategy as well as building the global procurement framework within the company.

A successful candidate will be able to:

  • Conduct sourcing activity relating to key areas of spend
  • Developing sourcing strategies and project governance documentation
  • Provide supplier management activity
  • Supplier onboarding and related due diligence activities
  • Developing and undertaking all Supplier risk management and compliance activity
  • Establish and monitoring robust reporting of Supplier spend
  • Work with the Accounts Management team to identify opportunities for improving value
  • Develop project specific KPI's which relate to Supplier performance relating to project scope and location.
  • Develop and implement robust vendor audit processes and ensure supplier conformance.
  • Contribute to monthly executive reports
  • Conduct regular market reviews and develop and maintain a framework of preferred suppliers
  • Manage the Instant Group preferred supplier list including Pre-qualification of new suppliers.
  • Ensure that all approved suppliers are best in class in the areas of Environmental Sustainability and that initial standards are improved through collaborative working.
  • Contract negotiation and drafting - interacting with the Instant legal team where necessary
  • Manage supplier agreements for commodity items across Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E).
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement though regular meetings with Suppliers

Desirable Candidate Qualities:

  • Formal degree education (BSc/MBA/MSc) or relevant industry experience.
  • Fully qualified CIPS member (or working towards).
  • Procurement category management experience with demonstrable experience of developing category strategy.
  • Experience working of leading low value/fewer complex projects or supporting procurement projects requiring more complex sourcing activities.
