INTERIM FM / CONSTRUCTION PROCUREMENT MANAGER - 12 MONTH CONTRACT £500 PER DAY - GLOBAL FMCG

Location: North West London (hybrid)

This Global Household name has a strong reputation for their best-in-class procurement function, which spans across 3 continents and boasts a dynamic, collaborative environment focussed on strategic and commercial excellence.

They now seek an experienced procurement professional with experience in FM (facilities management) and / or construction to manage the delivery and implementation of category strategies across the Global operations team. With almost 5000 locations world-wide, you would play a vital role in managing complex and large spend projects across the property and FM side of the business to ensure that you are streamlining process and introducing new and innovative approaches in procurement to drive value for this Global Giant.

This is a 12 month project and offers a day rate up to £500 per day (inside IR35). You can work from home 3-4 days per week and be based in a modern, state of the art HQ in North West London 1-2 times per week.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a fantastic team who are promoting procurement excellence and driving commercial change through the whole organisation.

The Strategic Procurement Manager will be responsible for:

• Allocating and leading strategy development for specific projects across the FM / Construction categories
• Creating compelling and innovative sourcing strategies which challenge current ways of working and deliver the best value to the company
• Demonstrating that sustainability, innovation and risk management, collaboration, health and safety & well-being are effectively considered and managed through each initiative

Required Background for the Strategic Procurement Manager:

• Demonstratable experience in FM / Construction Procurement, where you have successfully implemented change through developing and applying strategies
• A strong ability to develop and manage stakeholder engagement plans for a complex environment across multiple individuals, teams and business units
• You will demonstrate commercial excellence in market engagement, defining specifications, managing complex risks
