This award winning charity are searching for an experienced Manager to join their procurement function as the Marketing and Fundraising lead. The right candidate will be well versed in the procurement field and thrive in people facing environments - they are searching for people who want to do the very best for others, while at the same time making the most of the opportunities and experiences that are offered to them.

As a Procurement & Contract Manager in Fundraising & Marketing your ability to own the strategy & delivery of the procurement of goods and services across the Fundraising, & Marketing of area of spend could have a real impact on people's lives.

Desired Qualities

  • Experience of supporting commercial leadership to a team in tendering, negotiations, and subsequent supplier management for high value contracts.
  • Specialist knowledge of Procurement practises including sourcing, contract management, procurement law, cost/price management, supplier management, e-commerce.
  • You will have a highly developed analytical and problem-solving skillset that can be used in a variety of complex business situations.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to manage top-down.

As Procurement Manager, you will control procurement and contract management activity risks by supporting the development of a disciplined procurement culture throughout the organisation through training and engagement; Proactively lead high value complex negotiations through to contract award and when required, intervening to solve urgent business needs; Support the ongoing transformation of their Procurement function from tactical to strategic through ownership and delivery of defined procurement improvement initiatives.
