Are you an experienced Procurement Manager looking for an exciting new challenge in a long-established, independent company?

As Group Procurement Manager you will have functional responsibility for procurement for five businesses over 60 sites and locations. Heading up a small team you will drive best practice support for purchasing, tendering, sourcing and cost saving. 

The successful candidate will be degree and MCIPS qualified and will demonstrate broad-based procurement experience gained at senior level in manufacturing or construction industries.  You will have acquired direct and indirect experience of procuring utilities, fuel, capital equipment and plant, vehicles and consumables.  Engineering or technical knowhow would be desirable.

Being commercially focused, you will demonstrate business acumen and have achieved outstanding negotiation successes.  With a great track record of leading procurement projects  you will be a strong communicator and have excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure Group Procurement has effective engagement across all Group businesses and with multiple teams. As the leader of the Group's procurement function, you will be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, and be accountable for measuring and securing success.
