A unique procurement opportunity to work for a globally recognised law firm entering into a large-scale transformation project with the aim of enhancing the procurement team's growth. This initiative was recently launched by the organisation who has chosen the UK team to showcase the innovation that procurement can bring about for the company, and will serve as a model for the global procurement teams within this company. This means that you will have the opportunity to get in at the ground level within this end-end procurement team and thus you will be given responsibility and autonomy in the implementation of experimental and innovative new strategies within IT procurement. You'll additionally have incredible networking experiences, and the freedom to manage the end to end procurement processes.

This opportunity reports to the organisations global category manager and requires a procurement professional with a background in IT or an indirect generalist with strong experience in IT. With a base salary of up to £55,000 and hybrid working of 3 days at home and 2 in the office this opportunity would be perfectly suited to an innovative, driven, and motivated procurement professional with comprehensive IT experience.

Key experience/ responsibilities:

  • Extensive IT procurement experience
  • Proven track record of innovative and effective project implementation, management, and delivery
  • Strong communication skills and communicative adaptability- must be able to cultivate and maintain effective and positive long-lasting relationships
  • Work on experimental and unique strategic sourcing projects to support commercial growth of the procurement team
  • Work effectively and indispensably across an innovative and creative team, driving team objectives and taking on responsibility within processes of end-end procurement.
