IT Buyer - £45,000 - North London (Hybrid)

Your responsibilities would include strategically sourcing new suppliers in the areas of telecoms, software, hardware, and services. For the goal of carrying out efficient supplier negotiations and service level agreements, engaging and influencing top management, this requires a person with good communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. This opportunity would suit an individual who is driven, communicative, and innovative, competent in the cultivation and management of strong and trusted relationships. Key requirements/responsibilities:

• Proven track record of effective vendor acquisition and management, building strong networks of suppliers within the IT procurement space
• Significant practical experience with procurement procedures, covering sourcing, tendering, evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management
• Strategically sourcing suppliers across a diverse range of sectors who are in line with the company's procurement ethical targets and ESG incentives
• Support category and sourcing managers' execution of commercial strategy and in the evaluation of value, performance, and vulnerabilities in procurement processes
• Create and implement category strategy for specific IT commodities, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and self-educate on internal and external supply marketplaces and the sectors of which the organisation works across
