Global IT Procurement Manager - £60,000 - Hertfordshire

This global FMCG organisation is currently looking for a strategic IT category manager to join their expanding procurement team. Within this role you will be responsible for the management and application of innovative category strategies within the IT procurement function, supporting £multi-million indirect spends and striving to achieve yearly savings and drive commercial value. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing supplier acquisition and management, cost and price analysis, evaluation of demand, and effective negotiation with vendors to implement savings.

Due to the organisations global scope, the strategic category objectives in which you implement will be administered internationally and you will operate across multi-disciplinary and diverse teams to bring about innovative strategic sourcing procedures. To deliver on strategic procurement processes and cost savings, your ability to manage relationships comprehensively and successfully with suppliers will be pivotal and must reflect on the credible and favourable brand image.
