Job Details

This prominent Utilities major is presently looking for creative and ambitious Senior Category Managers to drive their transformative future vision. They are in the final stages of restructuring their procurement department to develop it into a highly strategic and forward-thinking function, and they are looking for highly motivated procurement professionals to join them in creating market-leading category plans that will increase the organization's commercial value.

You will have a variety of procurement projects to work across within this role, covering both direct and indirect spends. Through the implementation of innovative procurement processes you will be strategically optimising the companies' existing procurement function in accordance with their business objectives. This opportunity will allow you to be a key influence in the progression of your allocated procurement spend and set best-in-class strategic plans on how to achieve cost-savings for the organisation. There will be ample opportunities within your work for you to accomplish commercial expansion through insights into sustainable development in procurement, the understanding of market influences, and the application of innovative procurement strategies.
