Job Details
Are you an experienced procurement professional in process and systems? Are you looking for an exciting new role where you can use your skills and experience to help us create and implement process and system improvements on a global scale? If so, I think we may have the role for you!
In this exciting new role, you’ll be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the systems and processes for the procurement function globally. This will help shape and integrate the global procurement team in line with best practice methods.
About the role.
As the technical lead, you’ll drive and implement change programmes within the remit of the role, such as purchase to pay (P2P), eTender systems. You’ll also manage and maintain effective global procurement and source to contract (S2C) processes and training that are rolled out to every business unit on a global, regional and local level.
Ensuring appropriate governance structures & controls are in place via policies and appropriate training methods will be key to success in this role. By ensuring the provision of regular, trusted, timely data to the procurement teams and their customers; you’ll enable action to be taken to drive value and improved outcomes from our supplier relationships. Day to day you’ll manage and regularly maintain risks for the function via the Risk Management Framework and be the main point of contact for the team.
You’ll be responsible for a team of 3 direct reports and work closely with the wider procurement team globally.
About you
You’ll have experience of driving procurement transformation within a complex, multisite global organization and knowledge of systems and their implementation across the full Procure to Pay (P2P) Source to Contract (S2C) process. You will need to lead by example, be resilient and able to navigate complex challenges & deal with ambiguity.
Having a clear understanding and working knowledge of implementing P2P and S2C systems will be essential in this role, alongside an interest in developing new systems and ways of working. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced global function and will be confident challenging the norms and bringing new ideas that deliver improvement.
Building new relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders will be the key to success in this role.
You’ll use your interest in procurement analytics and modern procurement tools to drive efficient and effective teamworking with internal and external stakeholders.
