About the role
In this exciting new role within the Procurement Performance Team you’ll support the successful delivery of the governance framework to support the overall procurement strategy. You’ll be experienced in developing and implementing good data controls which will support the procurement team in delivering commercial sourcing strategies, whilst ensuring the right level of governance across our systems within our Global Procurement function.

Day to day you’ll undertake effective data reviews across all contracts to support tendering, contract management and supplier relationships. You’ll work collaboratively with internal colleagues ensuring procure to pay processes and policies are operating effectively within the team to support delivery of the required business strategies. 

You’ll work with internal stakeholders to carefully manage relationships to drive overall best value for Drax working closely with the Procurement team. As the team Data ambassador, you’ll be a key part in building a positive and responsible ‘data culture’, helping people to value and trust data provided at each point of the process.

About you
You’ll understand end-to-end procurement processes, or experience within a commercial setting, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure departmental policies and processes are followed.    

The ability to provide prompt, efficient and personalised service to internal and external customers at all levels is imperative, to ensure that their needs are met, and productive relationships are built and maintained. You should also have the confidence to proactively challenge stakeholders and their requirements to drive the best outcome for Drax.

It is key that you are a self-starter with a ‘can do/will do’ attitude who has the energy, drive and commitment to make things happen and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies to form alignment. The ability to identify key opportunities for Procurement support and prioritise workload effectively is essential.  

World Contracting & Commerce certification (previously IACCM) will be supported within role.
