Senior Procurement Consultant – Management Consultancy Firm – all major UK cities - £60-75k + Package Benefits 

My client is a Global Management Consultancy firm trusted by UK and Global organisations across public and private sectors to support and transform their procurement functions. With a sole focus on procurement & supply chain they have won countless awards for their extensive industry experience and innovative solutions to client problems. The successful candidate will be joining a big name in the industry as well as working along side some of the most specialized procurement experts in the industry. 

All their products and services are specifically tailored to suit individual client needs partnering with business across a wide range of industries. Their engagements span from short term all the way through to multiyear agreements with lots of opportunity to get stuck in and make a big impact.

With multiple office across the UK the firm offers a hybrid working model with occasional collaborative office meetings – but regardless of where you are In the UK you will have your local hub assigned to you. 

As a Senior Procurement Consultant you will: 

  • Utilize tools and methodologies alongside specialist knowledge to deliver procurement processes, procurement projects, transformation and change
  • Create effective working relationships with stakeholders and senior client sponsors to deliver allocated projects, anticipating and responding to client requirements, influencing change, managing conflicts and issues
  • Actively develop expertise across a number of categories to support engagements of a generalist nature and actively contribute to knowledge sharing, product development, best in practice delivery, innovation and strategy development 

     

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Experience in developing category strategies through the use of leading category management methodology
  • Demonstrate track record of developing and maintaining senior stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Experience working in a consultancy in a matrix structure
