Senior Procurement Consultant - An International Professional Services Consultancy - £50,000 - £60,000 - Birmingham - Flexible Working

This international professional services consultancy provides vast opportunities for growth, career progression and exposure within the private and public sector across a variety of candidates including, but not limited to, property, infrastructure. As a Senior Procurement Consultant an abundance of opportunities will arise to develop and manage strategic solutions across consumer products, utilities, and technology.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Procurement Consultant will include:

• Identifying lucrative opportunities to up-sell during client interactions.
• Cultivating healthy, effective and current relationships with senior client sponsors and stakeholders of all levels to execute projects, influence change and manage conflict.
• Utilising previous indirect and direct Procurement experience to deliver on procurement projects and transformation.
• Monitoring strategic savings to identify innovative initiatives across projects of ownership.
• Applying SRM principles to effectively manage procurement contracts and identify areas where performance can be optimised.

A strong Senior Procurement Consultant will have the following experience and skills:

• Proven category generalist experience.
• Successful project management abilities and adept knowledge of transformation.
• Expertise in category management, savings delivery, strategic sourcing, and proven knowledge of working with public contract regulations.
• Deployment of organisational skills and ability to multitask on a variety of projects across different categories within procurement.
• Educated to degree level.
