Strategic IT Procurement Manager - FTSE 100 Market Leader - Reading + Flexible Working - £65,000- £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Global Household Name in the Professional Services Industry is looking for an Strategic IT Procurement Manager to look after hundreds of £millions of their Technology Spend.
The company are at the forefront of their industry both in terms of size and innovation. Due to this innovation, technology plays a massive part in the future plans of the business, meaning the Strategic IT Procurement Manager will have a number of high-profile, innovation-focused projects to work on!

As Strategic IT Procurement Manager, you will: -
- Have complete autonomy over a variety of IT Procurement projects, working with a variety of high profile, international suppliers across multiple sub-categories including but not limited to Software, SaaS, IT services, and Telco
- Work closely with senior level stakeholders and members of the procurement function from all around the world, either remotely or with the opportunity to travel internationally
- Draft, amend and negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers
- Act as a procurement business partner to the best-in-class technology function, focusing on bringing innovative technologies to the company
Strategic IT Procurement Manager, required background: -
- IT Procurement expert - someone who has ideally operated across multiple IT procurement sub-categories including but not limited to Software, IT Services and Telco
- Exposure to a highly regulated background (Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Energy) is preferred but not essential
- Evidence of rapid progression or exceeding targets in previous fast-paced procurement role(s)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Degree + CIPS (preferred but not essential)
What the Strategic IT Procurement Manager role will offer you:-
- £65,000- £70,000 Basic Salary depending on experience
