Global Procurement Manager for MRO

As a Commodity Procurement Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to manage the procurement of M.R.O (maintenance, repair, and operations), and Consumables for a multinational manufacturing company. In this role, you will develop and implement commodity strategies, manage supplier performance, and identify cost improvements.

As a key member of the purchasing function, you will be responsible for delivering the indirect commodity procurement budget for your assigned commodity category. You will actively lead or participate in cost improvement initiatives and develop and execute the commodity procurement strategy for M.R.O, ensuring strategic sourcing according to company standards.

You will manage regional or global tenders resulting in the implementation of the awarded scenario and contribute to market intelligence & best practices sharing and implementation for the commodity. Additionally, you will define, implement, and track QCD/KPI objectives for the commodity and manage and strengthen supplier relationship management, including panel & contract management.

Ensuring transparency and accuracy of data in the procurement information system will be a key part of your role. You will also support the Commodity Procurement Director in achieving overall objectives, with dedicated analysis/reports (weekly/monthly) and in projects, and work closely and align with business stakeholders, i.e., Business Units, plants, and other business functions.

Essential Competencies for Global Procurement Manager for MRO:

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrable M.R.O. procurement experience on a commodity/category manager level with several years' experience on an international level Excellent written and verbal communications skills with experience in building relationships in a matrix structure organization Awareness of market trends with a proven record of accomplishment in planning and executing cross-functional cost reduction projects for production sites and relevant business stakeholders Skilled in negotiations with expertise in contract and supplier management Fluency in English and competence in MS Office is highly desirable.
