Procurement Buyer - International Tech Engineering Organisation - Oxford - Hybrid £30,000 - £40,000 + Irresistible benefits

This International Tech Engineering Organisation are one of the largest global social media firms and true market leaders within their industry. With a clear trajectory for the company, they are seeking to provide a talented, ambitious, and outgoing Procurement Buyer with Buying experience to interact with multiple divisions of the company to bring their branded product to life!

Do you want to be a part of curating a state-of-the-art technological product for a global brand? If so, we're seeking someone who is currently a Buyer, Purchasing Assistant or Junior Buyer who can showcase their sourcing capabilities and has previous experience within procurement.

What you'll be doing as a Procurement Buyer

  • Working closely with the finance and engineering teams to create POs for suppliers.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and managing the status of POs to ensure that they are tracked for the wider Procurement team, and payments are made within contracted agreement time.
  • Managing existing state-of-the-art stock inventory.
  • Proactively research and present the Procurement function with best practices to implement to drive a best-in-class environment.

You should possess the following skills and experience.

  • Experience within a Procurement function, as a Buyer, Junior Buyer, or related roles.
  • Great organisation, time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Previous exposure to supplier management and the ability to multitask, showcase interpersonal nature, and independency in a professional capacity.
